Suffolk Holiday Cottage Accommodation in Southwold

Pebble Cottage is surely the Best of Southwold!  This delightful period cottage is situated on the heart of Southwold’s Georgian core, a very short walk away from both the beach, pier, and famous Nelson pub.  Inside there is charm abounds with a beachy, coastal atmosphere throughout – this house is perfect for anyone who loves the coast, Southwold and is looking for the Best of Suffolk!

Through the front door there is a large sitting room with kitchen/diner beyond, leading on to the family bathroom.  Above the sitting room are the two double bedrooms, accessed by a set of original cottage stairs, a separate set of stairs lead from the kitchen to the twin bedroom above.  Outside is a charming courtyard garden with table and seating for barbeques and drinks.  Unrestricted on-road parking is available nearby.

Ground floor:

Comprises a Sitting Room, Kitchen/Diner and Family Bathroom.

SITTing room:The front door leads into the sitting room, which has a wood burning stove and windows to the front, side and rear of the cottage.  The room has a wonderful driftwood character and will be ideal for relaxing in, with a sofa and a variety of armchairs.  There is also a flat screen TV, iPod docking station and WiFi.

Kitchen:This charming room has a hand made kitchen, brick floor and table seating six, there is a door to the courtyard garden, stairs to the bedroom above and access to the family bathroom beyond.

Family Bathroom: The beach atmosphere of the house continues in this room, which has paneled walls, a slipper bath with hand-held shower, WC and basin.

First floor:

Split into two separate areas, accessed via two separate stairs, one leading to the two double bedrooms, one to the twin room.

Bedroom 1: This room has a double bed and a window to the front elevation of the cottage.  There is an original fitted wardrobe chair and antique wash-stand, all contributing to the charming character of the room.

Bedroom 2:The room has a window to the rear of the property, a small double bed and chair along with an original fitted wardrobe.  Along one wall there is a charming drift-wood style paneling adding to the character of the room.

Bedroom 3:Above the kitchen and accessed via its own staircase from the kitchen this room has 2 handmade single beds and dressing table with a window overlooking the rear courtyard garden.

Outside: A charming feature of this charming cottage is the courtyard garden, tucked away behind the property and accessible either from the kitchen door or via a side alleyway. Imagine relaxing there with a barbeque or glass of wine while being only moments from the beach or High St!.  Unrestricted on-road parking is available nearby.

This beautiful end-terrace holiday cottage is located a few yards from the beach in Southwold and a short walk from the pubs, restaurants and shops in the centre of the Town.  Walking to the Pier, Southwold Harbour and Walberswick beyond is easy from the Cottage.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

Pebble Cottage is equipped with full central heating and a wood burning stove.  Appliances include a flat screen TV with FreeView channels, WiFi, a DVD player, and an iPod docking station. In the kitchen there is a gas cooker and fridge with freezer compartment.  There are original wooden floorboards and brick floors throughout the property.

A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.

Sorry, no smoking or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property. A well-behaved dog can be accommodated on request at the time of booking, must be restricted to the ground floor and is subject to our terms and conditions.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
