About the property

This delightful holiday cottage is light and airy with a cheerful, tastefully decorated interior.   It’s ideal for two families or couples and is ideally situated in the heart of Aldeburgh on the popular High Street, close to the beach, shops and popular restaurants.

The accommodation is set out on three floors.  On the ground floor there’s a living room with big bay windows, a dining room and kitchen. On the first floor is a double bedroom, a bathroom with a bath and separate shower, and a family bedroom with two single beds and bunk beds.  The second floor has a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.  Outside there’s a patio garden to the rear with a table and chairs for outdoor dining.

Ground floor:

The front door leads to a hallway with space for coats and boots.

Living room: This pretty room has two small sofas, two armchairs and a beanbag, a small flat screen TV, DVD and video players and an wood-effect electric stove for extra warmth in the winter months.

Dining room: There’s a large table with seating for eight and access through to the kitchen.

Kitchen: The fitted kitchen has a gas cooker, a dishwasher, microwave and a fridge with small freezer compartment.  Beyond is a small utility room with a clothes washing and drying machine.  The back door leads from the kitchen to the back garden patio.

Outside: The back garden is laid out on two levels with planting and patios.  There’s a table and chairs and a BBQ.

First floor:

Bedroom 1: A double bedroom with a built-in wardrobe with shelves and bedside tables and a roman blind over the window.

Bedroom 2: This large family room sleeps four in two single beds and bunk beds.  There’s a built-in wardrobe and plenty of games and books.  There are two large windows bringing plenty of natural light into the room.

Bathroom 1:  The family bathroom is tastefully decorated with dark grey tiles and has a shower, a bath (cleverly narrowing at one end to allow space for the separate shower), a w.c. and a hand basin.

Second floor:

Bedroom 3:  A lovely bedroom with a double bed, dressing table and chair and a built-in wardrobe. 

En-suite bathroom: There’s a bath with a hand-held shower attachment, a w.c. and a sink

On-road parking is usually available in nearby side streets.  Short stay parking is also available on the High Street very close to the house.

This large holiday cottage in Aldeburgh is ideally situated on the High Street, close to the town's popular independent shops, art galleries and restaurants, and of course the beach.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen and towels, gas and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

The accommodation is equipped with gas central heating, a small flat screen TV, DVD and Video players, CD/radio player, gas hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing/drying machine, an under-counter fridge with freezer compartment and a BBQ. A travel cot is available on request.

Restrictions: Sorry no smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
