About the property
This grand Victorian Villa is located on a quiet road just a short walk from Aldeburgh’s very popular High Street and the beach. It is a stylish and spacious property with gardens to the front and rear and on-road parking usually available in front.
The house is set out on three floors with one king bedroom, one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms. Downstairs there’s a large living room with a large bay window overlooking the front garden and a large dining kitchen (ideal for big family meals) and a cloakroom with a w.c. Outside there’s a spacious enclosed front garden and a patio back garden that catch the sun at different times of the day.
The accommodation
Ground floor:
A path through the large enclosed front garden leads to the front door and hallway beyond it with space to hang coats.
Living room: This large room has a 3-seater and a 2-seater sofa and two armchairs, natural flooring, a flat screen TV with a comprehensive Sky TV package, an Ipod docking station, WiFi broadband a DVD, a selection of books, and a gas-fired stove that provides a warm and inviting focus to the room in the winter months.
Kitchen/diner: This spacious room has a large pine table with seating for eight people, a fitted kitchen with a large Belling range cooker with five gas rings and two electric ovens. There’s a dishwasher, tall fridge-freezer, and patio doors leading out to decking in the enclosed back garden.
Utility room and cloakroom: Just off the kitchen is a small utility room with a washing machine and a separate cloakroom with a w.c. and hand basin.
Back in the hallway stairs lead to the first floor landing with access to:
Master bedroom: A lovely light and airy bedroom with a king size bed, a large bay window and original floor boards, an antique pine wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
Bedroom 2: A twin bedroom with a sash window, a chest of drawers and a bedside table. There is an original built-in cupboard just outside the bedroom door on the landing which has plenty of space to hang your clothes.
Bedroom 3: A twin bedroom with an antique pine wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table.
Bathroom 1: A lovely large room with a free-standing bath, separate shower, w.c. and hand basin.
Stairs lead from the first floor landing to the second floor landing with access to:
Bedroom 4: A large bedroom with a double bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe and chest of drawers and a wicker ‘chaise longue style sofa.
Bathroom 2: With a freestanding bath, w.c. and hand basin.
Outside: At the back of the property, leading out of the french doors in the kitchen, there’s a decked outside area surrounded by trellis, creating a private outside area. It’s a suntrap during the middle of the day in particular and ideal for evening BBQs and outside meals, with a large dining table seating 8, with parasol and cushions, a BBQ, plus pots growing herbs for your use - essential for the BBQ marinade and the Pimms! The front garden is spacious and enclosed by a wall and a fence. There is a large lawn and a raised seating area that attracts the sun throughout the day. There’s a table and chairs in one corner, unobserved from the road and ideal for breakfast or lunch, and a bench in the other corner. On-road parking is often available immediately in front of the house..

This lovely self-catering accommodation in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, is situated on Lee Road, a short stroll away from the High Street and the beach. Aldeburgh is a pretty coastal town with a very popular selection of restaurants, cafes and independent shops.

Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
