About the property
Occupying a grand Victorian building on Aldeburgh’s High Street, this spacious first floor apartment is great for getaways in central Aldeburgh, just moments from the beach, shops and restaurants.
Living room: The large living room is light and airy with views of the High Street. Furnished in a modern style, it comprises a comfortable sofa, complementing armchairs and some original antique english pine furniture. The open fireplace houses a ‘living flame’ gas coal fire for additional warmth and atmosphere in the colder winter months.
Kitchen/dining room: A modern fitted kitchen featuring stainless steel oven/hob and equipped to a high standard – the owner assures us that even avid gastronomes will be kept happy! A modern black table and four chairs provide comfortable and flexible dining facilities with a view over the High Street.
Shower room: The shower room is fully tiled with white ceramic tiles, stainless steel heated towel rail, modern-style w.c. and hand basin suite.
Master Bedroom: This light and spacious bedroom has a handmade king size bed made up in Egyptian cotton bed linen. This is complemented by warm pine antique furniture including an original pine wardrobe, large antique chest of drawers and bedside tables.
The apartment shares a common entrance way with the second floor flat which is occupied by the owner. There is a shared utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
Outside, the back door to the building leads out through a passageway to a small pay and display car park. The beach and seafront are immediately beyond this. Free parking can usually be found on nearby side streets on a first come first served basis.
About the area
The apartment is situated above a boutique clothes shop in the centre of the High Street, making it ideal if you’d like to be close to the town’s popular shops and restaurants. The property can be accessed directly from the High Street or from the rear, for instant access from the beach.
What's included?
All prices include bed linen, towels, gas and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits or chocolates to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
The property is equipped with gas central heating throughout, TV, DVD/Video/CD players, electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave. The shared utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Free wireless internet access is available (although please note that there is no helpline support for this). A selection of books, DVDs, videos, and magazines are also provided.
Restrictions: Sorry no smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted on this property.
Tariff
£290 to £596 a week depending on the time of year. Shorter breaks are available when there is late availability – please check the calendar for details. A returnable damage deposit of £100 will be requested when your balance is due for payment, subject to our terms and conditions.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
