Suffolk self catering country holiday cottage
Broad Oak Cottage, Great Finborough,
nr Stowmarket, Suffolk
About the property
Tucked away at the end of a long drive in the grounds of a magnificent period vicarage, this former gardener's cottage was built in the 1860s in Victorian Gothic style. We think this is the perfect countryside retreat for couples and small families alike.
Great Finborough is a pretty village near Stowmarket and for many years it was the home to the late BBC DJ John Peel. You'll find lovely countryside walks nearby as well as a popular golf course and excellent pubs within a short drive.
On the ground floor there's a living room with an open fire and an open plan kitchen/dining room. Upstairs are two bedrooms (a king and a single) and a bathroom. Outside you'll find plenty of off-road parking and a private walled patio garden.
The accommodation:
The front door leads into an open plan kitchen/dining room.
Kitchen/Dining Room: There’s a lovely dining table and four chairs at one end, and a fitted kitchen at the other with an electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge with a freezer compartment.

Bedroom 1: This large room has a king size bed, bedside tables and two fitted wardrobes.
