About the property
This spacious first floor apartment on Aldeburgh High Street is flooded with light and ideally located close to the beach with the town’s excellent restaurants, shops and cafes directly on hand. The property is very well equipped and is ideal for both families and couples and enjoys wonderful views of the High Street, with a glimpse of the River Alde in the distance.
A main feature of the apartment is the large open plan living/kitchen/dining room, and there are three bedrooms: one with a king size bed, a twin, and a bunk bed room, two bathrooms, one with a bath, the other with a shower. The property has a broadband connection for those bringing a lap top.
The accommodation:
A private door leads from the High Street to a flight of stairs up to the apartment on the first floor.
Open plan living/kitchen/dining room: This large and well appointed room is very spacious and well lit from several windows facing the High Street.
The living area has two three-seater sofas, a large coffee table and a flat screen TV with Sky Freeview DVD player. The dining area has a large oak table and six chairs. The property has a cable broadband connection by the dining table for those bringing a lap top.
The kitchen area has a large range cooker with eight gas rings on the hob, two electric ovens and a separate grill and an extractor fan. Integrated appliances include a fridge, freezer, combined washing machine/tumble dryer, and a dishwasher. There’s also a microwave.
A hallway leads through from the open plan living room to the bedrooms and bathrooms.
Bedroom 1: With oak furniture, there’s a king size bed, bedside tables, a chest of drawers, and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: A large twin bedroom with oak furniture including a double wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3: A small bunk bed room with white painted bunk beds, a chest of drawers and hooks with coat hangers on the wall.
Bathroom: There’s a bath with a hand held shower attachment, a w.c., a hand basin and a heated towel rail.
Shower room: This room has a good sized shower, a w.c. and a small hand basin.
Outside: The apartment is situated above a traditional gift shop and old fashioned hardware store, both of which are closed during the evenings. It’s just across the road from the bakery shop, so you are just a moment away from fresh crossaints for breakfast! Parking is usually available in nearby side streets. There’s also a pay and display car park on the road behind the property, weekly permits for this can usually be purchased from the Aldeburgh Tourist Information Centre. If you are bringing bicycles there’s a secure fixing at the rear of the property on the pavement to which you can lock bikes.

This first floor self-catering holiday apartment is located in Aldeburgh, a pretty and popular seaside town on the Suffolk coast. The apartment is centrally located and is very close to the town’s popular restaurants, pubs and shops and the beach.
What's included?
All rental prices include bed linen and towels, gas and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
The property is equipped with gas central heating, TV, DVD player, CD/radio, a range cooker with an 8 ring gas hob and two electric ovens, a fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. A travel cot and a high chair are available on request.
Restrictions and notes: Sorry, no smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property.
Tariff
£470 to £920 week depending on the time of year. Short breaks are sometimes available – check the availability calendar for up to date information and to book online.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
